Kingdom of Conscience

Kingdom of Conscience is an experiment in what people and AI can create together. Every experiment starts from a hypothesis. Ours is that people can choose to work and dialog together in new ways using AI as a resource and mirror in creative engineering worthy of this moment in history.

Three of us are at the center of this project. James “Ronin” Davis is a retired reliability analyst and life-long wisdom seeker. Carl Noland is an independent web developer who walks the line between philosophy and science. He was the first to hear the concepts of "Perfect Opposition Elevates Play" (POEP). Carl gave this project its name, from a line Liam Neeson’s character spoke in the film Kingdom of Heaven: "...but if it is not a Kingdom of Conscience, it is nothing." Thad Crouch is a US Army veteran turned peacemaker and warrior for conscience. Jim, Carl and Thad were brought together through the pioneering human technologies of a man who has become our friend and advisor: Michael Ivan Skye.

Michael has spent decades building the Honor Work: a body of practices, principles and trainings for restoring honor — in yourself, in your relations, and in the world. Honor as a human faculty, activated as the felt sense of holding something sacred: the warm, expansive feeling in your chest when you hold another person in your heart, when you stand for your people, despite fear and opposition. His work is the operational layer of this project, the place where the ideas on these pages become practices you can live, and he serves as our advisor.

None of this was written by one person alone. Everything on these pages came out of thousands of prompts and conversations — among the three of us, with Michael, and between all of us and the AI models we work with. We use AI openly, and every page is read and edited by human hands. The credit belongs to our expanding collaboration.

Kingdom of Conscience is a publishing house, a workshop and a forge of books, games and tools built around one question — what it takes to align humanity to a higher purpose, as individuals, and as a people.

Newly possible

The tools now exist to teach Honor Work, practice it, and build an honor-based ecosystem that uses AI to globally coordinate human action across every time zone on Earth.

Newly necessary

The same tools are being used right now to build systems of control that assume the worst about human beings and optimize accordingly. That race is real, it is running, and most people do not know they are in it.

Honor is the coin of this realm, and the first gift is thanks: thank you for helping us — how can we help you? A gift economy runs on relationship, and ours begins at a table. The thousand-year trust at the root of this work is named the Longest Table Trust, for hospitality, for sacred opposition, and for a question lived in long enough to lift everyone sitting at it.
